11 Months, Time Sure Flies By

Ava holds her own with the big girls.

We broke down and got Ashlyn and Alyssa a set of Polly Pockets. Of course, Ava had to play with them too, but she only gets to play with the "big" pieces. She crawled around for an hour with a Polly Pocket pet cat's head in her mouth. She throws loud but short fits when she doesn't get what she wants like when we tried to take the cat.

How Ava helps load the dishwasher: she adds a little liquid to the soap dispenser.

Ava just figured out she could pull herself up in her bed.

Looks like Ava's in a precarious situation. She's already slammed or mashed her fingers in several drawers and cabinets. She was a very girly, pitiful pain cry. Plus she looks at the closest person like they hurt her. So sad!

Ava figured out how to use this chair as a walker to get all over the kitchen, today. She has a pretty long attention span for an 11 month old. She worked at "walking" around the kitchen and getting her toys for about 30 minutes.

Perfect Weather

Our new use for the swimming pool, a roof for our fort.

Great Mema with Ava Ria out enjoying the 68 degree weather. That's what I call perfect.

Ava likes both hands full all the time. She carried this baby doll around all evening.

The "Grill Master"

Grandmama, Granddaddy, and Mema came over Saturday night. We grilled out 7-up chicken with vegetables and the kids played outside. We loving having our family so close to us. We're truly blessed.

My Girls

Ashlyn and Alyssa are getting so big. They are a joy to be around (most of the time).

Ava loves being near and play with her big sisters. Sometimes her sisters don't like her kind of play, but most of the time they're pretty good sports. Ava also lets Ashlyn know when she doesn't like her taking her toys. She just bites her.

Alyssa and Ashlyn made clay creations with the Owens one morning. I thought they were all very creative. This is Lyssa's worm.

Sweet Ava sleeping with her Daddy. She's a Daddy's girl. She gets so excited when he gets home from work. I think it makes Daddy's day.

My eyes are still big and blue.

Missing the Owens!!!

We're missing the the Owen's family, but we're glad we got to spend some time with them before they moved. Hope you are doing great!
